RESERVATIONS:
A reservation
deposit of $500.00 CAD is required at time of booking.

RENTAL PAYMENTS AND SECURITY DEPOSIT:
Rental
charges shall be paid in full 30 days prior to departure. This payment
will include anticipated mileage charges above and beyond the free
kilometer allowance. A security deposit of $1500.00 is required at
time of departure. It can be paid by credit card imprint, which will
be preauthorized. The security deposit is refunded when the vehicle
is returned complete with all equipment, in a clean and undamaged
condition.
Sk R.V. Rentals reserves the right to hold the security
deposit for a reasonable period of time to allow for a vehicle inspection.
PAYMENT:
Payment may be made by, VISA or MASTERCARD. Full
payment of estimated rental charge is required 30 days prior to departure.
KILOMETERS:
The
basic rental rate includes 1,000 free kilometers per week of rental. Additional kilometers will be charged at 25 cents per kilometer. There
is no refund given for unused “free” kilometers.
FUEL:
Gasoline
and propane costs are the renters responsibility. Gasoline and propane tanks are full at time of departure and are to be full upon return.
There are no claims made on fuel consumption.
DRIVER'S LICENSE
/ AGE REQUIREMENT:
The minimum driver age is 25 years. Driver's must
be in possession of a valid driver's license; for the full duration
of the rental period, from his/her country of residence and must be
listed on the rental contract. An International Driver's License is
recommended for all drivers who are not residents of Canada or the
United States.
INSURANCE:
A statutory automobile liability insurance
against third party claims is included in the basic rental fee. This
provides $2,000,000.00 public liability, and $700.00 deductible per
occurrence.
TAXES:
All rental charges are subject to Federal
and Provincial sales taxes. Currently, federal tax is 5%, and Saskatchewan
tax is 5%. Tax is calculated on the gross amount of the rental.
HOURS
OF OPERATION:
Vehicles may be picked up Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 . Vehicles may be dropped Saturday and Sunday, but these arrangements must be made in advance.
RV ORIENTATION:
The RV Orientation is
mandatory for all "Drivers". It will take place at the time of vehicle
pickup and should take approximately 30 minutes.
VEHICLE PICKUP
/ RETURN:
Vehicle pickups are between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Monday
to Friday. All rentals are due back between 9:00 am and 10:00 am on
drop off date. Penalties will be charged for late returns without
prior authorization. All vehicles must be picked up and returned
to Sask. RV Rentals company location in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The day the vehicle is picked up is considered to be the first rental
day, and the day the vehicle is dropped off is considered to be the
last rental day. Allowances can be made for out of town customers.
NON-SMOKING
DESIGNATION:
All vehicles are designated as non-smoking areas. Clients
who smoke are asked to respect the non-smoking designation. As well,
all renters are asked to make any visiting friends or family aware
that the vehicle is a non-smoking area. Violators will be charged
a $500.00 cleaning fee.
Pets
Pets are not allowed under any circumstances. This includes "non-shedding" dogs. Violators will be charged a $500.00 cleaning fee
PERSONAL / VEHICLE AND KITCHEN-SUPPLY KITS:
Please
note that there will be a charge for incomplete kits upon return.
STORAGE:
We
provide free parking for 1 vehicle per rental party.
MAINTENANCE
AND REPAIR RESPONSIBILITY:
Our fleet is in top mechanical condition.
In the unlikely event that a mechanical failure occurs, clients are
authorized to proceed with the necessary repairs up to $100.00. For
expenses over $100.00, clients must telephone Sk RV Rentals for authorization
before proceeding with repairs. Replacement parts must be returned
to Sk RV Rentals for reimbursement. Clients assume full responsibility
for damage to tires. Oil, tire pressure and coolant must be checked
at each refueling. Costs for oil will be refunded upon presentation
of receipts. Sk RV Rentals’ responsibility is limited to the refund
of the daily gross rate or portion thereof if the breakdown repair
takes longer than 24 hours.
ACCIDENTS:
If an accident occurs,
Renters must produce an on scene police report. Because “off road”
accidents can easily be prevented by driving slowly and having someone
outside the vehicle to guide the driver in tight situations, Sk R.V.
Rentals do not cover off road accidents involving overhead objects,
undercarriage, or interior damage, and deliberate and/or willful damages
by the renter. Damages caused while under the influence
of alcohol or illegal drugs are not insured. Damages due to failing
to maintain proper fluid levels in engine, transmission, etc., incorrect
tire pressure, misuse of the breaking system (overheating) or the
transmission (overdrive), or driving in prohibited areas are not insured.
TOWING:
Motorhomes
are equipped with a receiver hitch allowing them to tow a maximum
of 2500lbs towing weight. Intentions to tow must be declared prior
to the departure date. The renter is solely liable for any claims
as a result of use of the towing package. Vehicles are not equipped
with electronic brake controllers.
BIKE RACKS:
Each unit may be
equipped with a bike rack. The renter is solely liable for any claims
as a result of use of the bike rack.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
Sk. RV Rentals
will make every effort to provide the customer with the model of vehicle
that was reserved. If however, the reserved vehicle is not available,
Sk R.V. Rentals reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent
or higher value at no additional cost. Should a lower rated vehicle
be substituted, the company’s only responsibility is to refund the
difference in cost between the two vehicles. If no vehicle is available,
or the substitution is not acceptable to the renter, the full cost
will be refunded with no additional compensation. Although infrequent,
accidents or mechanical repairs may force substitutions.
